Working principle of electronic truck scale
Electronic truck scale uses the principle of resistance strain type to weigh. A strain gauge is pasted on the elastic body of the weighing sensor to form a Wheatstone bridge. In the absence of load, the bridge is in equilibrium and the output is zero. When the elastomer deforms under the load, the strain gauges produce strains proportional to the load, and the magnitude of the applied load can be measured by the output voltage.
The weighing sensor is mounted on the load-bearing platform, the sensor cables are connected in parallel in the junction box, and then connected to the input end of the electronic weighing meter. When the car stops at the weighing platform, the weighing body adds the force it receives to the weighing sensor, so that the resistance of the strain bridge changes and the output voltage changes, that is, the electrical signal is output. This electrical signal is sent to A/D converter after digital filtering and linear amplification. A/D converter converts analog data into digital data and then sends it to microprocessor for processing. Electronic weighing instrument displays weighing results.
